VINICIO DE BORTOLI, how do you control an Avatar

The film is set in 2154, on a called planet Pandora, very similar to the Earth for dimensions and forms of life.

A company interplanetary earthling, the RDA, wants to conquer this planet for his mining wealths, above all for a called particolareminerale Unobtainium, that produces strong magnetic fields and whose value of market is around the 20 million of the current currency to the kilo.

Pandora is covered by forests pluviali with tall trees up to three hundred meters and inhabited area from creatures of all the types, among which of the called sentient umanoidis Na'Vi, tall three meters and covered by a striped blue skin as the tigresses. The air on Pandora is not breathable from the human ones, so these have genetically developed a sort of hybrid among human and Na'Vi or the avatar.
In this way a human being can check an avatar connecting himself with a' mental Interface: the individual, after being him connected, it enters a sort of coma, and through this system he/she succeeds in using and to check the avatar as if it were his body, immedesimandosi completely with it. The earthlings, through the control of the avatar, they will infiltrate him in the population of the Na'Vis. With to spend some months the protagonist (Sam Worthington) it becomes empatico with the population invaded by the human ones more and more, and at the end she must choose from what it departs to be.

Curiosity on Avatar and his sitema of control The system of control of the Avatar in the film is a kind of Mental Interface or a tool that he can be also a helmet endowed with sensory, that allows to check an any digital apparatus through the cerebral waves (computer and videogames etc...in the case of the film an Avatar).

A similar interface fantascientifica exists really, and he has been created by two Italian scientists the ing. Vinicio De Bortoli together with the prof. Ugo Licinio in 1984, and it consists in a system of control that decodes the cerebral waves.

In the film, the protagonist (Sam Worthington) is forced to live on a wheelchair, and he uses note of this Mental Interface to check the Avatar.

Il film è ambientato nel 2154, su un pianeta chiamato Pandora, molto simile alla Terra per dimensioni e forme di vita.
Una compagnia interplanetaria terrestre , la RDA, vuole conquistare questo pianeta per le sue ricchezze minerarie, soprattutto per un particolareminerale chiamato Unobtainium, che genera forti campi magnetici e il cui valore di mercato è attorno ai 20 milioni della valuta corrente al chilo.
Pandora è ricoperto da foreste pluviali con alberi alti fino a trecento metri e abitato da creature di tutti i tipi, tra cui degli umanoidi senzienti chiamati Na'Vi, alti tre metri e ricoperti da una pelle blu striata come le tigri. L'aria su Pandora non è respirabile dagli umani, così questi hanno sviluppato geneticamente una sorta di ibrido tra umano e Na'Vi, ovvero l'avatar.
In questo modo un essere umano può controllare un avatar collegandosi con un' Interfaccia mentale: l'individuo, dopo essersi collegato, entra in una sorta di coma, e attraverso questo sistema riesce a utilizzare e controllare l'avatar come se fosse il suo corpo, immedesimandosi completamente con esso. I terrestri, attraverso il controllo dell'avatar, si infiltreranno nella popolazione dei Na'Vi. Con il passare dei mesi il protagonista (Sam Worthington) diventa sempre più empatico con la popolazione invasa dagli umani, e alla fine dovrà scegliere da che parte stare.

Il sistema di controllo dell'Avatar nel film è una specie di Interfaccia Mentale, ovvero uno strumento che può anche essere un casco dotato di sensori, che permette di controllare un qualsiasi apparato digitale per mezzo delle onde cerebrali (computer e videogames ecc...nel caso del film un Avatar).

Una simile interfaccia fantascientifica esiste veramente, ed è stata creata da due scienziati Italiani, l'ing. Vinicio De Bortoli insieme al prof. Ugo Licinio nel 1984, e consiste in un sistema di controllo che decodifica le onde cerebrali.

Nel film, il protagonista (Sam Worthington) è costretto a vivere su di una sedia a rotelle, e si serve appunto di questa Interfaccia Mentale per controllare l'Avatar.

Arsenico e vecchi brevetti...o merletti?

Il Mindball che è stato presentato presso il "Festival della Scienza" Genova 2004 è una invenzione mia e di un mio amico prof.Ugo Licinio.

Ovvero si basa sui principi da noi scoperti nel lontano 1984.
Il deposito di questa nostra idea fu fatto presso la C.C.I.A.A. di Trieste e avvenne il 30/08/1984 con numero di verbale reg.9/82809

"Sistema elettronico predisposto a sostituire nei giochi elettronici i comandi manuali esistenti con equivalenti comandi direttamente dal cervello"

L'invenzione mi fù sottratta 20 anni or sono da un personaggio che con l'inganno portò via a me e al mio socio l'invenzione e poi morì in sudamerica in circostanze misteriose.
Costui era presidente di una società per azioni Milanese la CIPA S.P.A.

Di questi fatti ho già informato due Presidenti della Repubblica Italiana, l'allora Presidente Ciampi e il Presidente Napolitano tutt'ora in carica.
